Android will soon help you remember where you left things, ease motion sickness, and more
Google has released its September Android Drop, adding features for photo editing, messaging, search, and use while traveling. Search Live is now available globally, letting people ask follow-up questions by voice or camera and receive links for deeper information.
For travelers, Motion Assist places customizable bubbles on the screen that sync with a vehicle's movement to help reduce motion sickness. Find Hub will also gain a remembered items tab for tracking possessions such as spare keys or passports.
In Google Photos, AI Enhance applies automatic color and crop corrections with one tap. A separate natural-language editing option lets users request changes such as removing background people or adding objects to a scene.
For conversations, Google Messages is adding shared lists and notes that everyone in a chat can edit. Messages also gains photo-based chat backgrounds, matching bubble colors, and a Nano Banana 2 update for Remix image creation.
Building on the conversational tools, Gemini Live will soon accept a shared camera feed for audio guidance about nearby objects. It can also create a transformed image from a spoken request and camera view. Gemini Live on Android Auto supports hands-free conversations that can be interrupted to change topics.

Find Hub is this Android app where you can register and follow connected objects (like the one sending UWB signals to be found). And now you can say "Hey Google, remember in Find Hub that I put my passport in my bedroom drawer" to register it.
Of course, you need to be connected to your Google Account for that (because Google). Now sure, you could just say "Hey Google, remember me that I've put my passport in my bedroom drawer" then put your passport at its correct place so you would always remember without having to check your phone and loose one hour because you've forgot to tell Google you've changed its place, but it's less fancy.
