Android 17 adds native iPhone migration with expanded data support

Android 17 now includes a native migration feature for transferring data wirelessly from iPhone devices without a separate app.

Users can move photos, videos, contacts, messages, calendars, and, for the first time, Google Account information, passwords, Wi-Fi credentials, and eSIM.

The update is rolling out to select Pixel devices and will be available on Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 and Z Fold8, with additional device support planned.
