Streamlabs launches feature for live streaming games on TikTok from PCs and mobile devices
Streamlabs has launched a feature enabling gamers to live stream on TikTok from their PCs or mobile devices. The new tool tackles the issue of TikTok's vertical video format for gaming streams, making it easier for content creators to share their gameplay. The service is accessible on both the desktop software and mobile app of Streamlabs.
Streamlabs' integration caters to the need for PC streaming on TikTok, eliminating the requirement for stream keys and offers customization options. Creators can now take advantage of Streamlabs' Multistream and Dual Output features on TikTok, enabling them to stream simultaneously on multiple platforms such as X, Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok, choosing between horizontal or vertical streams. Additional features in Streamlabs include chat moderation with Cloudbot, themes, a widgets library, and advanced options for paying users.
Chris Castagnetto from TikTok believes the integration will lead to an increase in gaming content on the platform, leveraging its popularity among users. Meanwhile, Ashray Urs, Head of Product at Streamlabs, views the integration as a means to simplify the streaming process for creators, acknowledging TikTok's cultural impact.
