Superlist: a new project-centric task management app from the original Wunderlist creators

Superlist, the newest project from the original Wunderlist creators, has been recently launched, aiming to combine task management, notes, and lists across multiple platforms including Mac, iOS, Android, and the web. Unlike conventional to-do list apps, Superlist is project-centric, promoting teamwork by enabling users to share lists containing various content types with their teams. The app seeks to improve upon the original Wunderlist experience, which was later acquired by Microsoft and merged into Microsoft To Do

The app distinguishes itself by facilitating seamless integration with platforms like Gmail, Slack, GitHub, Figma, Linear, and even Microsoft To Do (๐Ÿ˜œ). It leverages AI to streamline task management by identifying and prioritizing crucial messages and content.

The platform is still in its early development stages and lacks some fundamental features, including a proficient setup for recurring tasks and extensive export options, and as we mentioned earlier, it primarily targets business use, offering a Pro account for $8 per month per user which includes additional features like unlimited shared lists, Slack, Github, Linear and Figma integrations, AI capabilities, and Up to 500MB upload & 25GB file storage. But if you want to try it out, you can use the free account tier, which is perfect for individual task management.

I am actually really excited to hear this! I loved Wunderlist and I was sad to see it (and Sunrise Calendar, and a few other apps) just get bought up by MS to stagnate (or, in the case of Sunrise Calendar, just left to die) and then barely get folded into the 365 menagerie/juggernaut. Yes, I'm excited about a list app. Real talk: I also get excited about Excel formulae. Whut? ๐Ÿค“
