Microsoft Edge to launch extension support on Android soon
Microsoft Edge browser is planning to launch extension support on its Android version, setting it apart from main rival, Google Chrome, and similar to Mozilla Firefox or Kiwi Browser. The extension feature is currently only accessible on the Canary build of Microsoft Edge for Android, and users can download Chrome-based extensions once the feature is enabled.
Extensions including uBlock Origin, Global Speed, and Dark Reader have been seen on the Edge Extensions Beta page, suggesting an early integration of extensions into the Android version. Although Google Chrome has not officially announced extension support for its mobile browser, the shared Chromium technology between Chrome and Edge could lead to similar features being introduced in Chrome.
The extension feature in Microsoft Edge for Android is still in the initial development phase and is expected to be available in the beta channel in February, with an stable release anticipated by the end of March, expanding the new feature to all users.

I can't help but feel bad about Microsoft Edge. So much effort is put into making it bloatware when it really could be just a browser on Windows. Disgusting. And the bad reputation about it being impossible to remove on Windows prevents me from wanting to use it no matter how good it can be. Such a shame.
