Linear launches 'Customer Requests' feature for enhanced customer feedback integrations

Linear has introduced a new "Customer Requests" feature, enabling teams to gather insights from customer interactions, such as sales calls and support chats, and automatically connect them to Linear issues as customer requests. It integrates with popular platforms like Intercom, Slack, Zendesk, Front, email clients, and Linear Asks, allowing users to generate customer requests directly from these tools.

The feature helps align product work with real-time user feedback, enabling teams to prioritize important features by organizing requests based on factors like customer volume, stage, or revenue. Detailed information about requests is embedded directly into issue descriptions, providing product teams with comprehensive visibility into customer needs.

Additionally, it centralizes customer focus across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams and is supported by the Linear API, allowing developers to create custom integrations. The forthcoming Linear Insights will further enhance the feature by offering tools to analyze and manage customer requests effectively.
