Tuta unveils stand-alone calendar app with enhanced features and strong privacy measures
Tuta has announced the launch of its new stand-alone Tuta Calendar app for Android and iOS, expanding beyond its previously integrated calendar within the Tuta Mail client. The stand-alone app offers an intuitive interface and introduces powerful new features aimed at enhancing usability.
Key features include a calendar widget, contacts' birthdays, cross-platform sync, and seamless integration with Tuta Mail. Known for its strong privacy measures, Tuta Calendar employs post-quantum encryption to secure user data. Users can subscribe to third-party calendars, such as those from work or school, and watch events sync seamlessly. Additionally, importing .ics files is now possible directly from mobile devices, eliminating the need for a desktop or web browser.
Tuta Calendar also boasts a fresh new look, featuring a blue icon and customizable themes available in both light and dark modes.
