Microsoft enhances OneNote with Microsoft 365 Copilot and improved digital pen support
Microsoft has updated its Microsoft OneNote application with several new features, including the integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot, a tool designed to expedite content creation related to study or writing topics. The update also improves OneNote's compatibility with digital pens and styluses, enabling users to convert handwritten notes into text. It also introduces text predictions to enhance input speed and user experience. However, these updates are only applicable to the OneNote app, not the OneNote for Windows 10 app.
The layout options in OneNote have also been enhanced with the addition of vertical tabs for a more organized interface. Users can now preview Stream videos directly in OneNote notes, eliminating the need for external apps.
These updates aim to align OneNote's functionality with other Microsoft software like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.com, thereby enhancing its usability and overall user experience.
