As of version 0.9.0-1, does not display properly on Linux Mint (and possibly other distros with non-Qt-based desktops, including Manjaro); i.e., missing icons, incorrectly themed elements. Known to affect Cinnamon, XFCE, & Manjaro Gnome.

Reviewed NovelistAlthough Scrivener, Manuskript, et al, are similar in principle, they are desktop-only applications, whereas Novelist is designed for Android; consequently, the other options provided here (as of 8/10/19) are not truly alternatives so much as substitutes for other platforms.
