I am interested in empiric reports with PROs + CONs of applications. I am a fan of AlternativeTo.net & enjoy to find & give here comparative information about distinguishing application features. I use WinXP, Vista, Win7 & BlackBerry 9860, I like Win7, Delphi, portable apps, Waze & virtual machines.

I like ShoutWiki, because I can migrate my numerous wiki-sites from http://www.referata.com, which has been closed 2022, to ShoutWiki. ShoutWiki also is based on MediaWiki-syntax similar to Referata.com, Wikipedia, Miraheze, EditThis. Because ShoutWiki is Ad-financed I think it will be a better migration target than Miraheze with not enough money to pay the servers longer than until June 2023.

Nuclino vs Referata.com: Nuclino is not an alternative to referata.com in the sense that pages created on referata.com could be migrated without major changes, as this would require the new wiki platform also to be based on MediaWiki.
