What is ZeroAway?
ZeroAway is a native macOS menu bar app that keeps you available in presence tools by gently resetting system idle when you’re not using the mouse or keyboard.
It nudges the cursor after a configurable idle timeout so apps like Slack, Microsoft Teams, Mattermost, and others don’t flip you to Away — without sending messages or injecting keystrokes into those apps.
Features: • Sessions from the menu bar — Always (8) or timed 1h / 4h / 8h with countdown • Idle timeout and cursor nudge distance controls • Presence gate — run only while tracked apps are open (by Bundle ID) • Work schedule — weekdays and hours; timed sessions ignore the schedule • Custom menu bar icon presets, online catalog, import/export • Optional local statistics — nudges and session history stay on your Mac
