WorkTop information
What is WorkTop?
WorkTop is a multi-desktop manager for Windows that creates real, persistent desktops, each with its own files, icon layout, and wallpaper. Unlike Windows' built-in virtual desktops or Task View, which share files and just group applications, WorkTop gives every desktop a separate physical workspace.
Use it to separate work from personal life, dedicate a desktop to each project or game, or keep a clean desktop for screenshots and presentations. Switch between desktops instantly via hotkey, the system tray, or right clicking the desktop.
Features include per-desktop wallpapers, scheduled desktop switching, and linking your desktop files to your virtual desktops.
The free version supports up to 3 desktops in addition to your main OS desktop.
WorkTop Pro ($14.99 one-time purchase, no subscription) unlocks unlimited desktops, per-desktop wallpapers, and scheduled switching.
Available as a direct download or via the Microsoft Store. Works on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
