I would recommend to stay well away from this application. Whitesmoke is overpriced, especially when you compare it to products such as ProWritingAid or Grammarly, which have better overall feature sets and completely outshine this product.
In addition, they have used deceptive practices in their advertising (at least in the past). I purchased a lifetime license for their product only to have it pulled on an EULA technicality and “because we have made several software and server upgrades”.
They have since ceased offering a “lifetime license” as it was a deceptive tool to pull in sales. If you intend on purchasing this product, I would highly recommend using ProWritingAid instead as their lifetime licensing model is excellent, and cost effective. I have it myself and have never thought of going back to WhiteSmoke.
