After using Avidemux and LosslessCut, it's nice to feel more in control of markers with VirtualDub2. All these programs will do FastCopy, but with Dub2 the way to output is likely more confusing. Stepping away for a short term with Dub2 will likely create a need to readjust to method again. However, VirtualDub2 is unusually good at finding and extracting one short, precisely bounded clip; use Direct Stream Copy when keyframes permit it, or re-encode when exact frame boundaries matter more...

fantastic application. light, fast, lots of pixel profiles. batches for decompression. extremely stable. 64 bits version opens very large videos. People have to stop with this discontinued. Why would everything need to be updated if it is already working perfectly?
