Vibeocus is a local-first macOS desktop application designed to solve "vibe-coding chaos". While AI agents (like Claude, Cursor, or local LLMs) move fast, project context often gets scattered across chat histories, hidden TODOs, and messy folders.

What is Vibeocus?
Vibeocus is a local-first macOS desktop application designed to solve "vibe-coding chaos". While AI agents (like Claude, Cursor, or local LLMs) move fast, project context often gets scattered across chat histories, hidden TODOs, and messy folders. Vibeocus acts as a control layer around your IDE to bring it all together.
Key features include:
• Agent Context (MCP): Connects with any MCP client (Model Context Protocol). Your AI can read rules, inspect documents, and interact with your project directly. • Visual Planning: Built-in tools like Freeform boards and Kanban task management that agents can interact with. • Local-First & Secure: Built natively with Tauri and React (not a heavy Electron app). Everything stays on your Mac. Secrets and API keys are secured via the Apple Keychain. • Project Memory: A local Markdown layer for specifications and architectural decisions.
It is built for solo developers and indie hackers who want to keep AI-built projects organized and secure without relying on cloud lock-in.
