Tagaris

Tagaris is a self-hosted IT asset register. It tracks what you own, where it is, who has it, and whether it is still under warranty.

The register covers assets with photos and attachments, people, a location hierarchy (sites, buildings, rooms), software licences and renewals, and stock (accessories, components and consumables) with full check-out and check-in. QR labels on rooms and assets give a scan-to-open path for physical audits. Custom fields, custom status labels, depreciation, disposal records and an audit workflow are included.

Reporting includes eight built-in reports and a custom report builder, all with CSV export and print. Daily email alerts cover warranty expiry, licence renewals, replacement-due assets and low stock. CSV import has presets for Snipe-IT and Halo.

The free tier is a full product, not a trial: one organisation, one user, unlimited assets, two-factor authentication and every email transport. Paid tiers add multiple users with roles, single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID, an org-wide audit log and scheduled email reports. A multi-organisation add-on suits MSPs. Licence keys are verified offline. Microsoft Intune and Jamf device sync and Microsoft Entra people import are free while in beta.
