A beautiful open source and privacy protecting plugin for new tabs. One request though. It would be nice if the devs redirected 1/3 the effort they put into aesthetics and widgets towards building more bookmark functionality. As far as I can tell, you can only add a bookmark shortcut by manually inputting the URL. That's way too tedious. Having my bookmarks bar automatically listed in the middle of the page would be useful or having a right click menu button to add bookmarks would be useful. They should try porting over the Humble New Tab Page plugin. Also a format like FVD Speed Dial and backups would be icing on the cake.
A beautiful, sleek, modern-looking extension for creating a personalized new tab. Sadly not maintained anymore; even the GitHub repo is not marked as a read-only archive. Luckily there's a maintained fork of this called TablissNG. If you want to use a maintained alternative, this is the first alternative to check on.
A customizable browser start page - pretty self-explanatory. You can even inject your own CSS to further alter the appearance of the browser page.
its snappy fast and customizable and free!
