Even when it may have a somewhat unpleasant aesthetic, it is fast and very light. This marvel is an essential part of the Freeware / OpenSource suite of applications that I always install and use on my PC.
Do yourself a favor, forget about other programs like Adobe Reader, etc.
Good for looking at a PDF quickly, but anything more and SumatraPDF just lacks very basic features, like filling forms.
Honestly, this just makes it useless for real use, because it would mean keeping two different pdf readers installed just in case you encounter forms.

It does exactly what he says. Very light and fast with a great UI
decent reader, but is clunky when it comes to even basic markup and you'll need a tool like pdf arranger too
It is not perfect, but as freeware for home-use it is doing its job surprisingly well. I'm using it since i bumped into few years ago and i'm happy with it.
Quick loading and does the job. I have little need for frills.
