Spec0

Spec0 keeps your OpenAPI specs in one place and keeps them honest. Push specs from CI, the CLI or a GitHub app; Spec0 versions them, computes a change-log between versions, and blocks breaking changes on the pull request rather than after they ship.

What is Spec0?

Spec0 keeps your OpenAPI specs in one place and keeps them honest. Push specs from CI, the CLI or a GitHub app; Spec0 versions them, computes a change-log between versions, and blocks breaking changes on the pull request rather than after they ship. Ownership is modelled as teams.

Every spec also gets a schema-accurate mock server, and an MCP layer serves specs to coding agents like Cursor and Claude Code, the agent queries the one operation it needs rather than having a whole spec pasted into its context.

There's a desktop client, Spec0 Studio, for macOS, Windows and Linux (MIT), which works entirely offline with no account.

The CLI, mock server and Studio are open source. EU-hosted, encrypted at rest, bring your own model key.
