SilverNode is a RAW photo editor built for speed and high-volume shooters. Its goal is to cut editing time a lot. There is no catalog and no import: you open a folder and start editing. Edits are saved to small JSON sidecar files, and your RAW files are never written to.
Editing is keyboard-driven and inspired by Blender. Press E and move the mouse to change exposure, C for contrast, T for white balance. The same keys work on many selected photos at once in the Grid. AutoEdit learns your style and gives each photo a starting point. Culling is quick: preview with Space, rate 1 to 5, reject with X. Tools include tone and color correction, curves, HSL, color wheels, linear and radial gradients, denoising, sharpening, highlight reconstruction, automatic lens correction, crop and straighten, presets, copy-paste of settings, live histogram and vectorscope, and undo for everything.
The processing is hand-optimized in Halide and runs on the CPU or GPU (Vulkan, Metal, OpenCL, CUDA, Direct3D 12). It is under 20 MiB. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, on both x86_64 and ARM, in 19 languages. It exports JPEG with EXIF metadata. RAW decoding uses LibRaw and RawSpeed, and metadata is handled by NeonEXIF, its own MIT-licensed EXIF library.
It is in free public beta. Perpetual licenses cost a one-time fee (Basic or Pro, early-bird €89 / €239), with no subscription required.
