Said about DxO PhotoLab as an alternative
Best denoise and color editing software!
It is a very capable replacement for Lroom, and not so pricey. You can buy Nik collection as well, and with both you have a larger toolset to work with. They finally worked around Fuji .raf files and is quite good dealing with it. The denoise is not as good as Topaz Denoise . UI is not hard to learn, and there are lot of videos to get what they are for, plus a good website explaining what each tab may accomplish.
I am a user of DXO, quite an efficient tool for general workflow, it won't retouch as well as Photoshop, but you can do some retouching. DXO Photolab 7 is their latest version.
Comments and Reviews
You can really work quickly with this editor, it's being getting better for the last couple of years. Only thing I miss is the work with layers. Yet, you can make spot adjustments to your photos.
