What is ScreenTune?
ScreenTune is a macOS app for capturing, editing, and exporting screenshots and screen recordings. It lets users record a screen, window, or selected area, then adjust the result with backgrounds, padding, frames, rounded corners, shadows, cursor styling, annotations, text, arrows, shapes, and freehand notes.
For recordings, ScreenTune includes Auto Zoom to keep clicks and key areas in view, with controls for pan, timing, and focus. The app also supports reusable presets, local recording and editing on the Mac, and export to MP4, GIF, PNG, and JPEG.
It is designed for preparing product demos, visual feedback, documentation, marketing assets, and everyday team sharing.
