What is Screencastify?
With over 5 million installs, Screencastify is the most popular screen recorder extension for Google Chrome.
First, choose what you want to record. You have 3 options - your current browser tab, entire desktop, or just your webcam.
Include your microphone audio to narrate over your recording, or embed your webcam into a corner of the screen to add a personal touch.
During your recording, use the annotation tools to spice up your video. For example, focus a spotlight on your mouse or draw with the pen tool.
Once you're finished recording, your video will automatically save to your Google Drive.
Premium users can edit their video with our browser based video editor (crop, cut, trim, merge, etc.) and export their video as a .mp4 or animated .GIF.
