What is Ruwa?

Ruwa is a free and open-source desktop application for digital painting and illustration on Windows. It combines a focused, customizable interface with a flexible brush system designed for both simple sketching and more detailed artwork.

The application includes a brush library and a built-in brush editor with support for shape, color, texture, scattering, stabilization, blending, and other configurable parameters. Ruwa also provides layers, blending modes, adjustment layers, layer effects, color controls, a navigator, and customizable workspace panels.
