This is a CD image mounting/converting application. No way to edit ISOs - only remastering (extract-modify-recreate) which destroys metadata. Fortunately it is more difficult to wreck original disc image if you must have TRIPLE space of it to make a slightly modified duplicate.

This is outright dangerous. Any modification of existing iso will make the program "re-burn" it. Say goodbye to metadata. They all will be overwritten by CD burning application.

[You need a C compiler to install it from source.]

ISO Master is an open-source, easy to use, graphical CD image editor for Linux and BSD. Basically you can use this program to extract files from an ISO, add files to an ISO, and create bootable ISOs - all in a graphical user in.

This is probably the only GUI-based disc image editor for Linux. Opens the image, allows to edit its contents, and then save it. It does not mess with a whole image's metadata. There is only a small problem: the last update of this program was in early 2010s, it is absent from most Linux package repositories and there are difficulties to build it in modern Linux (the biggest difficulty is called GTK2).
