Plexamp

Imagine loving music so much that you pour your heart, soul, and engineering know-how into creating a completely custom music player for audiophiles just like you. Well, that’s exactly what we did. Rediscover, curate, or completely lose yourself in the music that made you with Plexamp.

Years (and a lot of long nights) in the making.

Now free to our music lovers everywhere, Plexamp is more than just an app, it’s a playground for you to explore your library, discover new music, and have fun, all inside a beautifully crafted interface. We’ve reserved a select group of features in the app exclusively for our Plex Pass members.

Radio Star

Our Sonic data provides a superb basis for building Track Radio and Album Radio, which plays sonically similar albums.

In the Mix

Have your server check out the albums you’ve had on heavy rotation recently, cluster them into mixes, or look back in time and make a few historical mixes.

On This Day

Get nostalgic about your music with reminders of an album’s birthday. See what albums were released 20, 30, or even 50 years ago.

Album Types

Not every album is an “album.” Some are live, some are demos, some are EPs. And now we organize albums by type on the artist page.
