What is Peel Cleaner?

Peel uninstalls apps together with the files they leave behind, and tells you why each file belongs to the app and how sure it is. Everything it removes goes to the Trash, so you can put it back from Peel's History.

It also frees up disk space (files left by apps you already removed, developer caches, build folders, duplicates, old installers), looks after background items, extensions, and plug-ins, fine-tunes macOS settings, and sets up Terminal.

Protected places stay protected: iCloud Drive and other synced folders, keychains, SSH and signing keys, crypto wallets, Mail, Messages, and photo libraries are never moved, even if you select them. No analytics, no account, and it's open source.
