I like lively wallpaper as an alternative to panepaper since lively wallpaper sets actual applications as the desktop wallpaper unlike a lot of wallaper apps. And panepaper also does that, but lively is more useful if you want to have wallpapers that aren't limited exclusively to applications you have on pc. PanePaper sets apps as a multitude of ui elements, but lively is better for people looking for just the desktip wallpaper.
