What is PackWarden?

PackWarden is a bulk application manager for Linux. It shows every installed application in one place, whether it comes from your native package manager (pacman, APT, DNF, Zypper, APK, XBPS, Portage, or Nix), Flatpak, Snap, AppImage, Wine, or a supported game launcher such as Steam, Heroic Games Launcher, or Lutris.

You can select and remove many applications at once, and PackWarden shows the leftover settings, caches, and related files each one left behind before you confirm anything, so you can choose exactly what to clean up. It also saves a backup first and warns before touching packages your system depends on.

The Unused programs view flags applications you have not opened in months, with an optional background usage check for more accurate results, and any flagged app can be ignored so it stops showing up again.

The table can be reshaped to how you work: columns can be shown, hidden, or reordered, and the list can be filtered by name. A disk map view shows which installed applications are using the most space. PackWarden is available in English and Turkish.
