I get the impression that MuPDF is not being developed anymore. Found MJ PDF Reader in F-Droid repo. It's minimal and lightweight, and does the job of being a very simple reader.
MJ PDF is more usable than MuPDF in my experience, as more functions and takes only 30,40 MB while installed. Not that much more than MUPDF

Both are great but if you just want to view your PDF or maybe search for a specific one the load up speed of MuPDF is just unbeatable.
