There´s a lot of movie reccomendations sites created of the years but there´s only one that really works: MovieLens! Also the new design makes it even better for it to be our Movies Home =)
Movielens is a great movie recommendation website unlike some other obviously sponsored websites Downside tho is they don't recommend shows And I feel like the whole 5 stars rating thing is too small of a number to allow me to accurately rate movies relative to how good some other movies are I also feel that the recommendation algorithm prefers dramas a little too much compared to other genre's
Movie lens is my favorite of the various move rating databases. It has a few algorithms to help you choose the next movie to watch, and they don't delete ratings like others such as Rotten Tomatoes.
The one problem they need to work on is that it is only for movies, and not television series.
it just seems more fun to play with than any of the other movie databases I've played with.
MovieLens does not have TV shows.
