If you don't want something that needs you to hijack its streaming features to play multiple tracks and takes forever to load like VLC (up to in excess of 30(!) seconds when cold started)
nor have to select the track to be played manually every time you open a multitrack video on top of having to deal with bizarre defaults (e.g opened video closing after it ends, leaving you on a black screen) like mpv
or want to be able to press an arrowkey to check the next video, then just use this, it works.
The only proper "alternative" to this would be imageglass, but imageglass is made only for images, and currently has an issue where gifs play at incorrect speeds.
I really don't understand why there's no open source media- or at least specifically video player that does just what this app does.
5 stars only because there is no alternative for it, should one appear that does what this does, even if restricted to video codecs, I will drop it down to 1.
Slow opening & High background resources. Just a Junk. Like annoying Cryptojacking.

The application has many features that will be enough for most people, but the huge disadvantage of this application is that it is too slow and resource-intensive. One word, bloatware.
Overall functionality of the app is pretty good for a photo viewer, you can even do some basic editing, but main application problem is performance, very slow opening of images, mistakes with metadata sometimes, and even hangs/freezes.
