Comments about GnuCash as a Alternative to Microsoft Money
Its logic is very different from MS Money (because of double entry). It's not intuitive. I don't like the interface and especially reports, most of which I don't even understand.
0GnuCash is accounting software for small businesses, not financial management for individuals.
0Does not have functions of MS Money.
0GnuCash and Microsoft Money are profoundly different pieces of software. I can't imagine why this was listed as an alternative.

HomeBank Features
Comments about HomeBank as a Alternative to Microsoft Money
I used Microsoft money for a long time, but I needed to change to a more OS friendly software to keep my finances, after trying a few different programs, HomeBank was my favourite, although it lacked some features, and it took me a while to figure out how to transfer my Microsoft Money files to HomeBank, I ultimately figured it out and having used Homebank for a few years now, I can say that for my needs it works wonders. If you want to keep an eye on your budget, I highly recommend Homebank.
