What is MacUpdater?
MacUpdater is an application that can scan your Mac and display which of the apps that you have installed are not up-to-date. MacUpdater can also update those outdated apps to their newest versions with a simple click. MacUpdater takes care of updating all those apps that you've obtained outside of the 'Mac App Store'. MacUpdater can silently run in the background and check your apps for updates every day and let you know with notifications once a new update is available. The Free trial version let you scan for updates. However, updating more than 10 apps requires a paid license.

I like MacUpdater because I have to pay ONCE for a great app that helps me update my Mac. I've used it for a couple of weeks and then I've bought it. It's continuously updated and it's very fast.

Seamless, and rarely inaccurate. Makes keeping up with software updates so much easier. Very sorry to see it discontinued, and certainly hope it gets picked up.
MacUpdater saves me hours of time each month by automating the task of checking my apps for updates and then installing them for me instead of me having to manually do this app by app. I really do hope some company will purchase the code and technology and keep this wonderful product going.
For me this is the indispensible Mac app for keeping my applications up to date. I have too many to do this manually. PLEASE I hope someone respectable buys it and supports it by January
