Lisorto is a tool for organizing files on a Mac, specifically in the Downloads and Desktop folders. It suggests file destinations and names, but does not move or rename anything without user approval. It also provides an Undo option for batch actions and never deletes or overwrites files.
It helps assign clear names to files, like changing 'scan0001.pdf' to 'Vodafone invoice September 2026', and names screenshots and photos based on their content. Lisorto uses Vision to read scans, screenshots, and photos, and Apple Intelligence for unclear documents. Users can also employ their own AI, including Ollama, LM Studio, or any OpenAI-compatible server. Cloud AI is optional.
Lisorto includes a search feature that finds files by any word inside them, including scans. Its AutoPilot feature maintains folder organization as new files are added. It also records every move in a History log with an Undo option. Users can set rules based on name, type, or age of the file.
The 'Free up space' feature suggests unused installers, duplicates, large unopened files, and old screenshots for deletion, but only deletes them upon user selection.
Lisorto is free for up to 100 files per month and offers a 7-day trial of all features without needing an account. It is compatible with macOS 14 or later, Apple Silicon, and Intel.
