This is by far the best. If more people would jump on board it would take over the portable application scene. They're adding to it all the time, and actually listen to their users. PA forgot us long ago when it comes to that...

yep u're right :D
They r even fast. I try to be always up-to-date but LiberKey is sometimes even faster.

But there r also things to be done...

  • the "file association" isn't that customizable or even easy to use,
  • newest version (as of 7/2/2011) opens a webpage which says what got updated or installed
(annoying for me.. especially because I've selected what to update before... so I know it already xD And my Browser needs a long time to open up)
but it can be deactivated, "just" create an account (otherwise not needed) and change ur settings (on the webpage, then login from LiberKey)
  • it would be nice to do more without the webpage.. eg. searching the online catalog
  • and maybe some others...

You can unable update reports on the website : http://www.liberkey.com/en/your-liberkey.html
click on "Online options" on the left.

I'm liking LiberKey! Impressive interface and very big application library.

I use PortableApps since long. LiberKey offers many features like automatic updates, freely customizable menu, temporary file associations which are among my wish list for PortableApps.

This is a really good, customizable system. The Application Library and Update Checker are awesome. The new LiberKey Menu 5 is great, a whole new concept.

It's really good to have those applications and let LiberKey take care of checking for updates.
