LastSave is a desktop app for Windows that combines a game library, a backlog tracker and a gaming journal, with a launcher for every game.
It imports games from Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, the games installed on the PC (including GOG and Microsoft Store) and emulators, and gives each one cover art, play time, sessions and history.
Games move across a board from Backlog to Playing to Completed, and each change of status is recorded with its hours. When a game is launched from LastSave, or detected while running, the session is timed automatically. An in-game overlay lets the player take notes, screenshots and clips without leaving the game, and each capture is filed under the right session and game.
Other features include shelves and saved filters, journeys (ordered lists of games to play through), personal reviews, shareable cards for logs, reviews, shelves and profiles, and a controller-friendly Game Mode. The library is stored in a local database on the user's PC, and the app works offline.
