What is Label LIVE?
Label design and printing software for thermal printers. Label LIVE makes designing and printing barcodes, food labels, product labels and more hassle-free and brain-dead simple. Works with label printers from Brother, DYMO, Zebra, ROLLO & more.
Print labels with barcodes, import spreadsheet data, define variables, fine-tune images and print it all on your thermal printer.

We are always adding new support for thermal printers. If your printer isn't listed chances are we can add it easily. Open up a help ticket by clicking "Help" within the app.
Supported Barcodes:
Aztec, Codabar, Code39, Code93, Code128, EAN-8, GS1 Data Matrix, GS1 DataBar Omni, ISBN, Interleaved 2 of 5 (ITF), MSI Modified Plessey, PDF417, UPC-A, UPC-E, QR Code.
Import PDF, PNG, JPEG, or GIF images.
Once imported, image colors can be inverted or hidden to make printing even easier. Adjust the image brightness with a simple slider.
Import Spreadsheets
Compatible with XLS (Microsoft Excel) or CSV (comma separated value) documents. Each column name is made available as a variable for use within the label. Full date and time support with natural language processing and formatting. Print a range of rows or an individual row.
Label LIVE offers IOT functionality with a built-in MQTT server that allows advanced users to script label printing from other programs.
This app works with USB-connected thermal printers with individual labels on a roll. This app does not print "sheets" of labels used by ink jet or laser printers. Label LIVE does not currently work with wireless printers. We hope to support wireless printers in the future.

This program is easy to use and has already saved us a lot of time. I manage a research lab where we need to print detailed labels for hundreds of animal tanks. Before we learned about label live, we typed everything into our colony database stored in excel. We then had to re-type everything into the Brother label maker software. With label live we can now print directly from excel. This saves us time and also reduced the chance of introducing errors. The program was easy to install and figure out how to use. The online instructions guided us on how to recruit information from excel, and how to organize it onto the label. I like that once the label layout is set up, it is just one click to change to a new row in excel. The information from each selected column across that row immediately populates onto the new label. This makes printing labels super easy! Overall this is a nicely designed program with good functionality. It's hard to imagine why we would ever go back, and I wish I could have back all the time wasted using the Brother software.
This replaces all the variety of total garbage options shipped with the various label printers in the universe. It's actually easy to design labels, add images, barcodes, import data(CSV) and even use that data as variables in your label design. You know, the things that we all want to actually do with label printers, but the OEM software makes it all but impossible. It's like an alternate universe.
