A brilliant CMS. Open-source, not too step a learning curve with the interface but the best point is Joomla is highly extensible, there are literally hundreds of easy to incorporate "plugins" for just about anything you may want on your site. I would highly recommend Joomla to anyone making a site.

Started using Joomla instead of WordPress this year. Surprised by how much more it has versus WordPress. Joomla is a real CMS while WordPress is still mainly for blogs (no matter what they claim).

Drupal is a very strong CMS (CMF), the alternative to Drupal in more simple it's Contao (formely Typolight).
Contao is a CMF so
Very simple, very clean in the code, i love this cms. Joomla is cool but here code isn't clean et enough professionnel.
If you don't know Contao, tryiest it ! Strong, modulable, easy and clean
