Here's the #1 and most important security feature BestCrypt has over TrueCrypt/Veracrypt and others: The mounted container cannot be accessed by other users with administrator rights.

The vulnerability of TrueCrypt, Veracrypt, and others is that the mounted container is accessible to others with administrator rights. This means the container could be accessed from Remote Desktop or Desktop Sharing (Switch User).

I 2nd the comment on BestCrypt vs. TrueCrypt. I was also a BestCrypt customer previously, but it no longer provides a good value for what you have to pay compared to other, far less expensive, and equally functional products.

I was a BestCrypt user once. It was a good software. But I have switched to TrueCrypt because of their impudent pricing policy for Europeans (1$ = 1€) and their bad upgrade policy (if time is over, you even have to pay for bug-fixes). TrueCrypt makes it expendable.
