Game Over

Game Over (itsgameover.gg) is a video game tracking and discovery app built around three ideas: logging your history should be fast, ranking should be expressive, and recommendations should reflect your taste — not the internet's.

Instead of forms and star ratings, Game Over uses a swipe-based "Have you played…" flow. Pick your consoles and genres, then swipe through game cards — beat it, didn't finish, or haven't played — with keyboard shortcuts on desktop and swipe gestures on mobile. A search across roughly 900,000 titles covers everything from 1978 arcade classics to unreleased games you can add to your to-play list.

Everything you've played lands on your Shelf, a drag-and-drop tier board (S through F, with DNF tracking) that you can share publicly — your gaming history as a tier list rather than a spreadsheet.

The For You feed generates recommendations weighted by your tier board and genre taste: S-tier favorites count most, every suggestion explains itself ("Because you put Breath of the Wild in S-tier"), and indie and AAA titles compete purely on taste with no popularity bias. Mark suggestions as played, want-to-play, or not interested to sharpen future picks. A To Play backlog rounds it out — beat a game and it moves straight onto your tier board.

Game Over is free and runs entirely in the browser — no download or app store required.
