I've tried many different home and 3D design tools, and find Home Designer to be the absolute best for home modelling and designing. It's unfortunate that Chief Architect makes the purchasing process a confusing and bewildering (thanks to the wide range of feature and price points available) after making a choice I am ultimately very happy with the tool.
It's easy to use, reliable, and the online support documentation and training videos are superb. That cannot be said for any of the other 3D or home modelling tools I've tried.
The web site is confusing, but the product is ultimately very good.
