Hiren’s BootCD PE (Preinstallation Environment) is a restored edition of Hiren’s BootCD based on Windows 10 PE x64. PE version is being developed by Hiren’s BootCD fans. it supports UEFI booting and requires minimum 2 GB RAM.

On my notebook did not work, but I think it was the notebook's fault. I tested it in a virtual machine and to make it easier for you I listed the name of the folders in program files (This may help you decide):

iso image may containing ransom virus. After extract all file using 7z, clamscan detects ransom virus on firefox.exe and others.
Booted up nicely from USB. Has a lot of nice tools. I'm dealing with an inaccessible boot device error and the tools just haven't worked for me even though there are a lot of Boot Configuration Data tools to work with.
a 3GB ISO packed with usefful tools, I used Rufus instead of suggested ISO2USB, worked like a charm

Smart and sensible set of updated tools from the original Hiren's (2012). The inclusion of some favorites makes it a joy to use (AOMEI, Notepad++, 7zip, FSviewer, HxD). I'm so thankful for this revised edition (2018).
I have personally tested it and it is much better than MediCat. All programs work well and do not hang up. It is a great alternative to MediCat.
