Like this software It is simple, one-click power and understandible
And I love their style :D
You are highly welcome to the largest online vpn community
HideMyAss! KEEPS LOGS!!!
Might be very useful when it comes to general internet security and protection from public eavesdroppers along with content unblocking.
But does not stop government eavesdropping as logs are kept. Not surprised since the company is based in the U.K where they have strict surveillance laws.
I would go use VPN services that do not follow the traditional EU/US privacy laws, like Switzerland, where countries like UK and US are not able to request user information, as they have their own online privacy laws.
it seems they no longer offer a 'web-proxy' anymore as links dont work (https://www.hidemyass.com/en/proxy or even without en) as a freemium its very limited too
I can not connect to HALF of the regions these guys offer. Do not recommend if you want to test how your load balancer works in different regions.
HMA is based in the UK, which is horrible for privacy. They have a history of handing over logs to authorities and forwarding DMCA complaints to its users. The desktop app is allegedly buggy enough to leak the user's IP address under the right circumstances. HMA is one of the worst VPN choices available. You're better off choosing IVPN or ProtonVPN.
HideMyAss is at this moment my favorite VPN provider because of it's reliable service and many servers / IPs. Speeds are good (+- 3-4MB/s within my country)
