Graftit is a Windows desktop application for freelancers, consultants, and sole traders who want a fast, private, and affordable alternative to cloud accounting software. Unlike browser-based tools, Graftit runs entirely on your machine. Your financial data is never sent to Graftit's servers — it stays local, with optional sync to your own OneDrive, Dropbox, or Google Drive. There's no subscription lock-in to your own records. Time tracking — Start a timer or log time manually. Multiple clients, multiple rate types, per-rate rounding. Required descriptions keep records airtight. Convert billable hours directly to invoices in one click. Mileage — Log journeys by postcode. HMRC AMAP rates built in (45p/mile for the first 10,000 miles, 25p thereafter) with automatic threshold tracking across the tax year. Bill clients or claim HMRC relief — or both.
