    1. PartitionMagic WAS a computer program for hard disk drive partitioning. The program was running on Microsoft Windows operating systems before Vista or from a bootable CD-ROM and enabled creation and modification of partitions.

      The latest stable release was on May 5th, 2004. On December 8th, 2009 Symantec removed Partition Magic from their website and added this statement: "Dear Customers, Thank you for your interest in Norton Partition Magic. Due to changing consumer usage trends and Symantec’s desire to offer the highest quality and most innovative solutions for the latest operating systems, Symantec has discontinued Norton Partition Magic 8.0."
