Although the Git view is quite useful I'd gave it two stars because it conflicts a lot with other Git versioning. I used Rider and used the native Git version control their and Gitbutler was running on the background, it deleted stashed commits for no reason whatsoever. Found out through using Agentic workflows that it conflicts with your workflows.

Among the best open source git GUIs available right now.
Unfortunately, requires a remote branch and doesn't work on local-only repositories.
The only real alternatives in my opinion are LazyGit and the plugins/built-in GUIs of major IDEs, just because it is faster and more convenient than having a separate application.
