Spacebar is an open-source platform that reverse engineers Discord, allowing users to integrate their custom clients and bots. It supports chat, voice, and video interactions and is highly configurable. It operates on a decentralized system to prevent power abuse and has a secure cross-platform plugin system. Spacebar also features a themeable interface with a design editor and is publicly audited for security.

pretty much decent, super fast to host unlike many platforms so it's a big plus for me
No voice or video chat. Not sure how they can say they're an alternative to Discord without voice chat at least.
As a platform with the stated goal of being a reimplementation of Discord, it does pretty well at it's job
