pqp

pqp is a free, open-source (AGPL) voice and text chat for friends and communities, in the same spirit as Discord. Create servers with text and voice channels, roles and permissions, then talk with voice, camera and screen share with sound.

Watch parties let hundreds of people watch a stream together in the browser with low latency, with the host's webcam alongside and chat next to the picture. Recordings stay available afterwards.

Moving a community is quick: paste a Discord server template link and pqp rebuilds the channels and roles for you.

Small calls are peer to peer. Bigger rooms run through voice servers in São Paulo, Miami and London, picked by where the community is. Works in the browser, on Windows, macOS and Linux, and on Android, in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Made by two brothers in their spare time, and self-hosting is supported.
