Floppy

Floppy is a free, open-source, self-hosted media tracker and personal media diary for movies, TV shows, anime, manga, books, comics, video games, board games, music, and podcasts.

Instead of keeping your watch history in one service, reading history in another, game backlog somewhere else, and listening history somewhere else again, Floppy brings everything together into one personal library, one history, and one set of statistics.

Floppy goes beyond simple watched/unwatched tracking. It includes progress and time-left views, repeat watches and plays, detailed statistics and recap-style insights, recommendations, configurable home screens, smart and public lists, and collections that can track the specific copies of media you own.

It is designed to work alongside the services you already use. Floppy integrates with tools and platforms including Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, Kodi, Stremio, Steam, Xbox, PlayStation Network, Last.fm, Pocket Casts, Audiobookshelf, Radarr, Sonarr, Seerr, MyAnimeList, AniList, Trakt, Goodreads, StoryGraph, and others. Depending on the service, Floppy can sync activity live, periodically pull new history, or import existing data from an export file.

Floppy runs in Docker and keeps your media history on hardware you control. It includes import and export tools, backups and recovery features, multiple user accounts, API access, an MCP server, and other tools intended to make it practical as a long-term self-hosted library rather than just another place to import your data.

Floppy originally began as a fork of Yamtrack but has since developed its own features, integrations, media types, user experience, API, and development direction.
